About the Speaker
Phil Hubbard, Ph.D., is Senior Lecturer Emeritus at the Stanford University Language Center, where he directed the English for Foreign Students Programme until his retirement. Over more than four decades, he has contributed substantially to the field of CALL through publications on language technology standards, teacher education, and AI-supported learning. He has received multiple lifetime achievement awards from the CALL research community.
